The third Panera Bread is set to open in El Paso, with a grand opening planned for the East Side.
The community celebration starts at 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at 12304 Eastlake Blvd. will include special giveaways, including a bread-breaking ceremony.
“We’re proud to bring a new Panera to El Paso,” said Michael Sanchez, Director of Retail Operations.“We’re committed to continue serving not just great food, but also the El Paso community.”
The first 100 guests through the doors will receive free “You Pick Two” meals for a year. A You Pick Two card allows guests to select any combination of two half-size entrees from the Panera Bread menu, including soups, salads, sandwiches and more every month for a year.
The restaurant will offer mobile pickup, delivery, drive-thru, and catering services. Business hours will be 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
It will employ about 55 to 60 people.
To celebrate the new location, Panera representatives invite local nonprofits, including schools, sports teams, scout groups, and others, to host fundraising nights. From Thursday, Oct. 23, through Jan. 23, 2026, Panera will donate 30% of net event sales directly to participating organizations.
