I am confident that his thoughtful and strategic approach to resource stewardship will serve our university well as we pursue our mission and our long-term strategic goals.”

As vice president for business affairs and treasurer, Fowler will serve as a “key strategic partner and trusted adviser to the president, senior leadership, and the board of trustees,” according to a news release.

“I am deeply honored to join Ball State University and to serve its mission of empowering students, faculty, and staff to pursue fulfilling careers and meaningful lives,” Fowler said.

Fowler earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in public affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
