78-year-old Milwaukee man missing since Oct. 15 found safe

The Milwaukee Police Department has canceled a silver alert issued for a 78-year-old man after he was found safe.

Police issued the silver alert Oct. 20, and the man had been last seen around 8 p.m. Oct. 15 on the 7400 block of West Glenbrook Road.

Just after noon Oct. 21, police said the man was located.

Silver alerts are issued for elderly persons who are missing and believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
