See how Notre Dame football distributed snaps on offense, defense in emotional win over USC

SOUTH BEND —Notre Dame football narrowed its rotation on both sides of the ball in Saturday’s 34-24 win over USC.

However, even with Gabriel Rubio and Loghan Thomas out due to injury, nine different defensive linemen took at least 16 snaps in slowing the visitors to just 68 yards rushing (2.3 per carry).

“The key was just getting our defensive line and our linebackers to play well and then getting our safeties to fill when they needed to,” fourth-year linebacker Jaylen Sneed said. “Our D-line did a great job keeping the O-line off of us, and we were able to make tackles. Just a big shout-out to the D-line and how they’re playing right now. They’re on fire.”
