Vote! Decide this week's Marion County Athlete of the Week with 26 nominees to choose from

The hunt for the next Marion County Athlete of the Week started weeks before the season began. Now, six weeks into the season and the offseason work is showing every time an Ocala-area athletes steps on the field of play.

This week we have 26 candidates who stood out from the crowds of athletic games last week. Dylan Harris’ production at defensive end earned him a spot this week. Hannah Parkin’s nomination comes from shattering three county swimming records at the Marion Athletic Conference swim meet.

This year’s Athlete of the Week system is a little different. The poll ends Friday at 12 p.m. and the winner will be announced shortly after on this page. The twist is the highlight video element displayed for nominees.
