The Star-Banner’s Marion County high school Athlete of the Week poll has 30 athletes for you to choose from this week.
There are some familiar faces this week like James Bethea, Kevin Lucas, and Elizabeth Marshall. These three athletes are a part of class of athletes who have earned two or more Athlete of the Week nominations this season.
Among the new blood on this list are cross country runners Lachlan Bryniarski and Luke Lombardo after their top ten finishes at their respective meets.
This year’s Athlete of the Week system is a little different. The poll ends Friday at 12 p.m. and the winner will be announced shortly after on this page. The twist is the highlight video element displayed for nominees.
