It wasn’t a work of art, but Michigan State football ultimately took care of business on Saturday to improve to 3-0 on the year.
The Spartans used another strong offensive performance to knock off FCS foe Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon. Michigan State beat the Penguins by the final score of 41-24 in the final non-conference tuneup game before Big Ten play begins.
The Spartans were led offensively by Aidan Chiles, who totaled 346 yards combined in the air and ground. He also had one touchdown pass in the win.
Michigan State will now turn its focus to its Big Ten opener against USC next Saturday. That will mark the Spartans’ first road game of the year and will be a great test for Michigan State to open conference play.
