The Los Angeles Rams have a new hero on defense, and his name is Robert Paulson Nate Landman.
In his very first game as a member of the Rams, Landman delivered with perhaps the play of his career thus far on Sunday. Late in the fourth quarter, the Houston Texans were driving and approaching the end zone with a chance to take the lead against the Rams before Landman came through in the clutch.
He punched the ball out of Dare Ogunbowale’s arms just as he got inside the 20, forcing the fumble. Braden Fiske jumped on the loose ball and recovered it, preventing the Texans from putting any points on the board and preserving the Rams’ 14-9 lead.
It was an incredible play by both Landman and Fiske, but Landman is the one being hailed as the Week 1 hero – as he should. He saved the day for his new team in his Rams debut and fans appreciate his heroics.
Reddit was flooded with some hilarious memes for Landman, showing love to the team’s stud linebacker.
