Three people died and a fourth was hospitalized with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash Sept. 5 in Delaware County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded about 10:10 p.m. to a report of a crash on Hoskins Road in Thompson Township, according to the Highway Patrol.
A 2017 Honda Civic, driven by Olivia Kroft, 19, of Marysville, was traveling east on Hoskins Road when it collided with a 2014 Dodge Dart, driven by Roger Congrove, 70, of Richwood, which was traveling west, according to the Highway Patrol.
Kroft and her two passengers, Breyden Floyd, 23, of North Lewisburg, and Michael Pinkerton, 19, of Dingess, West Virginia, none of whom were wearing seatbelts, died at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol. Congrove was taken to Ohio State University Hospital with serious injuries.
In addition to the Highway Patrol, the Delaware County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s offices, EMS and Highway Department and the Richwood Fire Department also responded.
