Two people are dead after a shooting at a home in northeast Redding on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
An arrest was made but the person who was arrested was not identified in a news release posted on the Redding Police Department’s Facebook page.
The shooting took place at a home off Abernathy Lane.
A shelter-in-place order for the area was issued due to police activity.
“Multiple officers with the Redding Police Department are currently in the area of Abernathy (Lane) and Old Alturas (Road) in Redding. Updates are expected as the situation develops,” Redding police said on Facebook.
