At Home has announced it will be closing 29 “underperforming” stores, including one in Florida.
At Home filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June, citing “broader economic and retail-specific market pressures,” according to court documents.
At that time, the retailer said it would be closing 26 stores.
Three more stores have since been added, and At Home will be closing 29 stores by Sept. 30.

Why is At Home closing stores?
“Given the expenses associated with brick-and-mortar operation and the issues affecting the retail industry, a numberof the (At Home) remaining stores are operating at sub-optimal performance levels,” court documents said.
