The Pampa Police Department is investigating after a shooting sent a teenager to the hospital early Monday.
Pampa police said in a news release that officers were sent to a report of a shooting at about 12:30 a.m. July 28 that had occurred in the 1000 block of South Prairie Drive.
During the officers’ initial investigation, it was determined that a 17-year-old male teenager had been shot and had been taken to Pampa Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment. Police said the teen was treated and later released.
The Pampa Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating this case.
Investigators are asking for anyone who might have surveillance video of vehicles or people in the area near the time of the incident to submit video footage and related information via their online submission portal.
