Eighteen young women from the Carnation City area will compete in the 2025 Greater Alliance Carnation Festival’s queen pageant on July 26 at Alliance High School.
For the past few years, organizers have conducted the pageant before the start of the festival, to enable the queen and her court to take part in all events over the 11-day event.
This year, which is the festival’s 65th, will include another royal representative. To celebrate the anniversary, organizers will conduct a one-time Golden Carnation Lady Pageant for women ages 65 and older who have never been a Carnation queen.
This year’s pageant will begin at 6 p.m. in Alliance High School’s auditorium. Tickets are $10 apiece, and can be purchased from the contestants or by calling 330-685-2325.
