FSU baseball star earns another freshman All-American nod

Myles Bailey had an excellent freshman season for the FSU Seminoles and has received another Freshman All-American honor, this time from D1Baseball. They named him to their First Team on Tuesday.

The Tallahassee native finished the season red-hot, homering in seven of FSU’s last nine games. The 6-foot-4, 257-pounder ended the season hitting .327 with a .663 slugging percentage, 19 homers, 11 doubles, 56 RBI, and 50 runs scored.

It is just the latest honor for Bailey, who also made the All-ACC Freshman Team and was named a Freshman All-American by Perfect Game and Baseball America. The ACC Network recently named him one of the top returning players in the conference.

Bailey is set to have a much bigger role for the Seminoles in 2026 as a draft-eligible sophomore. With Alex Lodise, Max Williams, and several of their other top hitters expected to leave for the MLB, he is set to be one of their most important hitters.
