Who is Goose?
Goose, an American rock band, blends lyrical depth of indie pop with sprawling improvisation. The band’s latest release and fourth full-length album, “Everything Must Go,” marks a new era for a band that is best experienced live. The Connecticut group has been embraced by the forebears of jam bands, collaborating with Trey Anastasio of Phish and Dead & Company.
The band’s Iowa City appearance kicks off their fall tour. It’s the only free show in the band’s 17-city tour.
The concert is just one of many exciting acts visiting Iowa City for Hancher Auditorium’s 53rd season. The lineup includes five Broadway shows along with Ray LaMontagne, Ben Folds & A Piano Tour, Stereolab, and Jane Lynch’s A Swingin’ Little Christmas.
How to get tickets to Goose
The August concert is free and open to the public, with no ticket required. However, fans can RSVP online for updates as well as access to discounted food and beverages.
