The NFL went from an “every man for himself” attitude years ago to a “let’s make each other better ” attitude. As a result, we have seen the game improve, relationships and player movement become more flexible, and player development is at an all-time high.
One of the biggest reasons for player development is the rise in camps and retreats between players and coaches. One of them is getting together starting today, when George Kittle and Travis Kelce’s Tight End University will bring some of the best to play the position in the NFL together.

Cade Otton, the Bucs starting tight end, will be at the event this week.
Otton became a primary target for quarterback Baker Mayfield when Chris Godwin Jr. went down in Week 7 last season. For three weeks, he earned a plethora of targets and showed that he could be the guy for the Bucs offense. He is still a work in progress, but he is entering a contract year, so it is a pivotal season for him in 2025.
Another former Bucs tight end, Kyle Rudolph, will also be in attendance. The former Bucs have not been on an NFL roster since 2022, but is not officially retired yet, either.
