For the second straight day, the FSU Seminoles have flipped a four-star prospect from an SEC program. This time, it was four-star wide receiver Devin Carter, who they stole from the Auburn Tigers.
It is a return home for Carter, who is the son of former FSU running back Dexter Carter. He was also part of FSU’s 2026 recruiting class from April 20, 2023, until Jan. 22, 2024, when he backed off the early pledge and ultimately committed to Auburn.
Carter is FSU’s highest-ranked commit and the second four-star wide receiver that Tim Harris Jr. has landed this month, joining Brandon Bennett. They also have four-star prospect Efrem White and Darryon Williams committed.
FSU’s recruiting class now has 16 total commitments and is the No. 12 class in the country, according to 247Sports. They also added four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal on Sunday, giving them the leader of the class they needed.
His commitment fired up the FSU fanbase and they took to social media to celebrate his addition. Here is a look at some of the best reactions.
