It was another great season of softball around Emmet and Charlevoix counties.
While team hardware was tough to come by within some challenging district tournaments, what the players did from an individual standpoint certainly deserves recognition.
Some have already received all-conference honors, along with all-district and all-region, and there’s still more to come.
This week, the Petoskey News-Review All-Area Softball team will be released along with the Player of the Year feature.
But first, we want to know who you believe had the best season on the field. A strong list of 21 candidates to choose from is below.
The poll will run only through 5 p.m., Thursday, June 26, with the News-Review’s POTY feature and all-area team revealed Friday morning.
