After a triumphant 102-88 win over the previously undefeated New York Liberty on Saturday, the Indiana Fever (5-5) continued their homestand Tuesday vs. the Connecticut Sun (2-8) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Caitlin Clark erupted for 32 points in her return to the floor against the Liberty by shooting 11-for-20 from the field, 7-for-14 from 3-point territory, and 3-for-5 from the free-throw line. In addition to her scoring, Clark registered nine assists, eight rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in her 31 minutes of action.
With the Sun still struggling through their first ten games of the season, Tuesday’s matchup will certainly provide the Fever an opportunity to seek revenge for its May 30 loss against Connecticut.
