The Jacksonville Jaguars have dismissed for the summer, but head coach Liam Coen had a stop to make before starting his vacation.
Coen appeared on the “Pat McAfee Show” last Thursday, discussing trading for Travis Hunter, allowing Hunter to get reps on both sides of the ball last week in minicamp, Trevor Lawrence and many more topics.
Coen said he’ll be taking a golfing trip with his dad, playing at some courses in Europe. He’ll return and begin preparing for the Jaguars to start training camp in late July.

Coen’s introductory press conference will be remembered for his viral “Duval chant” which he provided insight on to McAfee.
Coen jokingly said he was just trying to learn the right cadence for the chant. He also said it gives fans the opportunity to talk with him and correct him on the proper way to say it.

Though the Travis Hunter trade has been well-documented to this point, Coen provided a refresher of how it came together.
He told McAfee about James Gladstone’s plan to trade for Hunter and explained why Hunter was a player they valued enough to go after.

As reported last week, Hunter played on both sides of the ball during the final minicamp practice.
It’s something the team fully intends to allow him to do in the season and they are preparing him to do so in training camp.
