As reporters, we ask a lot of questions.

All the time.
Now we’ve got one question for you, our readers: What do you want to know about lead hazards in Milwaukee Public Schools?
In January, the public learned a child had been poisoned by lead paint at Golda Meir Lower Campus. That led to broader findings that maintenance of MPS’ aging schools had long gone unaddressed, and temporary closures at six schools to address lead hazards.
By the end of this summer, MPS has said it will address hazards caused by lead-based paint in all elementary schools built before 1950. Along with those 54 buildings, it address any issues at another 52 schools — those constructed between 1950 and 1978 — by the end of the 2025 calendar year.
But we know there’s more to the story, and we want your help asking the right questions.
We’ll do our best to answer the questions you send us using the form below. Then we’ll publish a story with the answers.
