A four-vehicle crash on the JFK Causeway resulted in delays for motorists who were traveling to North Padre Island on June 6.
Emergency units arrived at the scene at about 3 p.m., said Weston Beseda, the fire chief with Nueces County Emergency Services District No. 2.
Tow trucks removed the vehicles involved in the crash around 4 p.m., and the bridge was reopened shortly afterward. However, traffic delays are still expected.
Beseda said first responders do not yet know the cause of the crash or if anyone was injured.
This is a developing story. More information will be reported when it is available.
