Most NFL teams will play three preseason games in 2025, but the Detroit Lions will play four.
That’s because on April 23, it was announced the Lions would play in the annual Hall of Fame Game against the Los Angeles Chargers on July 31 in Canton, Ohio.
That will be the first game of the NFL preseason, after which the rest of the Lions preseason will continue.
