The Buckeye Lake Tri-County Kids’ Bike Safety Rodeo will be held rain or shine May 10, at the Millersport Elementary School parking lot. Parking for the event will be at the high school next door to the elementary school. This will be a fun-filled day of learning about bike safety. Kids ages 5-10, who are able to ride a bike without training wheels, will have the chance to participate in various activities and games to improve their biking skills. This in-person event is a great opportunity for children to have a blast while learning to stay safe on their bikes. The goal of this event is to promote cycling proficiency, safe riding and fun in our community. There is limited space available.
Each kid who is registered for this and attends this free event will receive a free properly-fitted helmet and swag bag. Those completing the Bike Rodeo Course will be entered into a drawing for a brand new bike. There are two time slots – 10 to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon. For more information, please visit Bike Buckeye Lake’s Facebook page.
