Robin Hanrahan, founder of The Christmas Room, and her indispensable helper, Chris Kempisty, join Eileen to share the amazing work of this Christian organization. Last year they provided gifts for over 600 children. This year their goal is 700 children! Â

Robin Grace Hanrahan, Wife of Dr Tom Hanrahan, retired Treasurer. Mother of 4 sons and 7 grandchildren. Founder of The Christmas Room over a decade ago. The Christmas Room operates at Eddy Elementary now called Eddy center located in St Clair.
Chris Kempisty, wife, mother and Grandmother of 5 grandsons.
Chris and Robin have been joined at the hip doing charitable work with Kids In Distress and now The Christmas Room. Each year the need increases and we continue to meet our goals, helping our local children both during the Christmas season and throughout the year.
We also like to help veterans and their families. In recent years has been a big emphasis on helping church families.
The St. Clair Police Department is extremely helpful in allowing us to serve more children because of the outstanding work that corporal Don Ennis does. Along with his partner they go to all the neighborhood restaurants and gather needs less from employees or local grocery stores. We provide the Christmas wrap the gifts, and then the police department delivers them. This process has allowed us to help 100s more. Pretty much a stealth operation.Â
