By The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343
The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, 61st consecutive Blood drive information. We had (48) donors presented, we surpassed our goal of 33, (6) donors were deferred, (38) whole blood pints, and (4 Power reds = 8 pints) for a total of 48 pints collected. We had five first time donors who arrived to provide the ”Gift of Life”.
Working together, the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, and the American Red Cross reached another goal by collecting over 2,003 units (pints) = over 250 gallons of blood since our 1st blood drive on January 7, 2013. We are well on our way to reaching our next goal of 3,000 pints (375 gallons). Our 62nd Blood Drive has been scheduled for Monday, May 20th. To date, we currently have 22 scheduled appointments booked with the American Red Cross.
