Warren man arraigned in shooting, critically injuring man.

A 37-year-old man was arraigned in 37th Warren District court on April 8 following an alleged shooting at his home in Warren after a fight with a Detroit man on Saturday, April 6. It is alleged that Derrick King and his girlfriend got into an altercation at a party in Detroit. The 24-year-old victim intervened and started fighting with the defendant.  The girlfriend shouted that King may have her registered firearm.  The three parted ways. The girlfriend went to the home she shared with King but stayed in her vehicle as King drove up on his motorcycle. Moments later, the victim pulled in front of the house and exited his vehicle while King was still standing in his driveway. The victim and King began fighting and then separated. The victim began backing up, and King allegedly fired 12 rounds at the victim and hit him multiple times.  The victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.
