MANITOWOC – The aluminum spectacle of “Evergleams on Eighth” is returning to Manitowoc this year for the event’s 10th anniversary.
Dozens of downtown Manitowoc businesses will display more than 40 varieties of the vintage Evergleam trees in their windows from the day before Thanksgiving through the weekend after New Year’s Day.
“It’s so exciting to be working with the collectors and the businesses to put this together for all to enjoy for the 10th anniversary of the event,” said Cathy Karl, one of the event coordinators and owner at Heart & Homestead.
Special displays include “Enchanted Evergleams” at the Manitowoc Public Library, which includes the main floor display of Frankie’s Forest, a reproduction of a 1960s-era family living room with special Mirro products and a 14-foot Fountain tree.
