The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wichita Falls will host a display of 100 unique Nativity scenes from around the world in a first-time even to create “a joyful and reflective holiday experience, a church media release said.
The display and live Christmas musical performances will be 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 5 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the church, located at 4325 York St. Admission is free, and free parking will be available.
Event organizers hope “to bring together community members during the holiday season to celebrate themes of hope, peace, and unity,” the media release said. “The display highlights global traditions surrounding the Nativity story while offering a space for local talent to share musical gifts.”
The event is “ideal for families, faith communities, youth groups, seniors, and anyone seeking meaningful holiday traditions,” the news release said.
