U.S. serving military and veterans can look forward to some special treatment and freebies this Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Many restaurants around the country will offer free meals, desserts and coffee to veterans and active-duty military personnel.
Unless otherwise noted, all deals are available on the federal holiday, Tuesday, Nov. 11. Participation varies at franchise locations. Note that restaurants require proof of service to redeem offers.
Here is the list of participating restaurants and deals.
Einstein Bros. Bagels
Einstein Bros. Bagels will honor those who serve with a free hot or iced coffee (any size) for all veterans and active duty service members on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Guests can enjoy their complimentary coffee in-bakery, through the mobile app, or online using code FREECOFFEE. No purchase is required.
Whataburger
For Veterans Day, Whataburger is proudly honoring the military with a Texas-sized thank-you — free Taquitos every Tuesday through the end of the year.
Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 11, active-duty military and veterans can pick up one free Taquito in-store at any Whataburger restaurant during breakfast hours every Tuesday through Dec. 30 (Nov. 11, 18, 25; Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) as a gesture of gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice.
In addition, Whataburger continues its year-round offer of a free 16-ounce hot or iced coffee for veterans and active-duty military available anytime they visit a Whataburger dining room, which can be paired with the Taquito for a hearty breakfast on the house.
This offer is available for in-restaurant orders only, limited to one order per qualifying guest and cannot be redeemed online or through the app. Valid at participating Whataburger locations.
Chick-Fil-A restaurants in El Paso and Las Cruces
Chick-fil-A restaurants in El Paso and Las Cruces will offer a free entree to active-duty military, veterans, and their immediate families tomorrow (Nov. 11) as a gesture of appreciation for their service.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will offer 10 free boneless wings and a side of fries Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Chili’s
Military and veterans can dine in at Chili’s restaurants on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and receive a free entree from a limited menu.
Olive Garden
Olive Garden restaurants will offer a free entree to active military and veterans Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Cracker Barrel
Cracker Barrel restaurants invite military and veterans to dine in on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and receive a free Sunrise Pancake Special.
Firehouse Subs
Free medium sub with the purchase of a medium or large sub, chips and a drink Nov. 11 at Firehouse Subs locations.
Freddy’s
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, get a free Freddy’s Combo meal card to use through Dec. 31.
Golden Corral
Free dine-in meal from 4 p.m. until closing Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Golden Corral restaurants.
Hooters
At Hooters, military and veterans can receive a free dine-in entree from a special menu with the purchase of a beverage Nov. 11.
Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and drink with the purchase of an adult entree for dine-in Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Red Lobster
Free Veteran’s Shrimp & Chip meal on Nov. 11 for dine-in at Red Lobster restaurants.
Little Caesars
Enjoy free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo for retired and active duty from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Little Caesars businesses.
Starbucks
At Starbucks shops, enjoy free 12-ounce hot or iced coffee for retired and active-duty service members and military spouses in-store and at the drive-thru.
McDonald’s
Head to your favorite Mickey D’s for a free breakfast combo with hash brown and choice of any size soft drink, coffee or tea during breakfast hours for all veterans, active military personnel and military families.
Texas Roadhouse
Retired and active-duty service members can get a free dine-in or carry-out meal voucher between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 11. It’s redeemable through May 30, 2026.
Retail
Academy Sports: 10% off online or in-store for retired and active-duty service members and first responders through Nov. 11. Located at 2100 Skibo Road in Fayetteville.
Target: Retired and active-duty service members and their families can get 10% off two storewide purchases in-store or online through Nov. 11. Located at 2056 Skibo Road in Fayetteville.
Tractor Supply: Get a 10% discount on Nov. 11. Located at 8000 Raeford Road and 4740 N.C. 87 in Fayetteville and 2230 N. Bragg Blvd. in Spring Lake.
Walgreens: Retired and active-duty service members can get 20% off eligible regular-priced items in-store from Nov. 8-11. Multiple locations in Cumberland County.
