Texas A&M softball lands commitment from an All-District 2027 INF

Texas A&M softball is off to a strong start for its 2027 recruiting class with a commitment from another talented infielder. On Monday, Kynlee Arechiga from La Porte, Texas, announced via social media that she will begin her collegiate career in Bryan–College Station.

Arechiga was one of the better sophomores in her district. The 20-5A Newcomer of the Year slashed .538/.635/.846 with a .900 fielding percentage. She recorded 21 hits, 19 RBIs, and 1 home run en route to a 20-5A First-Team All-District selection. Not only does she excel on the diamond, but she was also an All-District selection in volleyball and basketball.

Coach Ford is entering year three, and she now fully has her stamp on the program. This will be a critical year for her team and the ability to hold on to and attract more top talent to Texas A&M.
