Christmas in the Park with Santa to be held Dec. 6

The Wichita Falls Parks & Recreation’s annual Christmas in the Park with Santa will be 12:50 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Scotland Park Elementary School gym at 1415 N. 5th St.

The city said in a news release that activities will include Santa’s Great Candy Cane Scramble, train rides, clowns, balloon art, take-home crafts, carnival games, and a chance to visit with Santa.

All activities are free.

The release said Santa will arrive at 12:50 p.m. on the Parks & Recreation Train.

“Santa’s Great Candy Cane Scramble is for ages 2 – 8 years only. There will be 10,000 candycanes, including 12 prize candy canes scattered over a designated area in the Scotland ParkSoftball field. Other activities will be held inside the gym,” the release said.
