2026 4-star WR flips his commitment from Houston to Texas A&M

Just 24 hours after No. 3 Texas A&M’s 48-0 win over Samford, head coach Mike Elko and his staff received the news that 2026 four-star wide receiver Jayden Warren had flipped his commitment from Houston to Texas A&M after attending the game, becoming the first of three predicted flips for the Aggies in the 2026 cycle.

With Warren’s addition, he’ll join four-star wide receivers Aaron Gregory, Madden Williams, and Mike Brown, which is by far the most talented freshman WR class Texas A&M has assembled in quite some time. This season, transfer wideouts KC Concepcion and Mario Craver have combined for 1,610 yards and 13 touchdowns, helping lead the Aggies to their first 11-0 record since 1992.

While Warren was predicted to flip his commitment, nothing was guaranteed. Still, based on A&M’s offensive success and the play of redshirt sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed, this choice was a no-brainer for the talented speedster who has a bright future in College Station.

Jayden Warren is a traditional X receiver with big play potential due to his size and downfield speed, and paired with Aaron Gregory, who is similarly built, the Aggies aren’t lacking size at wide receiver going into next season and beyond.

According to 247Sports, Warren is currently positioned as the 32nd-ranked wide receiver and the 35th-ranked prospect in Texas.
