Tee Higgins to miss Bengals-Ravens Thanksgiving game, per Zac Taylor

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters Nov. 24 that receiver Tee Higgins will be among several players missing the team’s Thanksgiving night game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson and running back Tahj Brooks also will miss the game, according to Taylor.

In a scary moment during the fourth quarter, Higgins landed hard on the back of his head while trying to make a catch. He left on a cart and was declared out with a concussion.

Taylor was asked how Higgins is doing.

“I don’t want to speak for him,” Taylor said. “It was obviously a tough one. So, that’s where we’ll land.”

The Bengals fell to 3-8 with a 26-20 loss to the New England Patriots in their NFL Week 12 game at Paycor Stadium.

Taylor said he anticipates starting quarterback Joe Burrow returning to action in Baltimore and explained the team’s plan to protect him from re-injury.
