Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson suffered an apparent injury during the third quarter of the team’s season-opening NFL Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.
Wilson appeared to take a big hit on helmet-to-helmet contact with Browns rookie Harold Fannin Jr. Wilson took a knee at the end of the play, and then medical personnel attended to Wilson on the field. Wilson walked off under his own power toward the blue medical tent for evaluation.
Wilson then went to the locker room. The Bengals announced that Wilson is being evaluated for a possible concussion, and his return is questionable.
Logan returned to the sideline later in the third quarter with his helmet, and returned to the game after Evan McPherson’s field goal.
Wilson suffered a season-ending knee injury after starting the Bengals’ first 11 games of the 2024 season. When he was injured, Wilson was the team’s leading tackler with 104.
Wilson hadn’t missed a regular-season game since the 2022 season.
Wilson, in his fifth NFL season with the Bengals, missed practice in September with a knee injury.
Wilson was a third-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
