Art in the Park will bring more than 100 artisans and 11 food vendors on Sept. 6-7 to Fred Fuller Park in Kent.

Oliver Wuensch, marketing and special events coordinator for Kent Parks and Recreation, said there will be entertainment on two stages, as well as demonstrations by the Society of Creative Anachronism, the Tea Room and some artists who also are displaying their wares at the festival.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 7.

There will be a designated area for young artists in third through 12th grades. The juried show will award monetary prizes to the best of show, first, second, and third places, and ribbons to honorable mention and best display.
Exhibitors will donate items to the annual Sylvia Coogan Silent Auction, which benefits art programs in Kent and surrounding areas. The auction ends at 4 p.m. Sept. 7, Wuensch said.
