If baking isn't in your plans, these Columbus bakeries are taking Thanksgiving pie orders

There’s no law, not even in Circleville, that your Thanksgiving pie has to be pumpkin. There’s no law, either, that you have to bake them yourself.

Bakeries and restaurants throughout central Ohio are taking orders now for Thanksgiving pies. And their offerings are extensive: traditional pies like pumpkin, pecan, apple and cherry, plus impress-your-guests flavors such as red raspberry, black sesame-chocolate-and-orange, bourbon sweet potato and turtle cheesecake.

We’ve compiled a list of businesses taking orders now for Thanksgiving pies, bread and rolls, and other baked goods.

We’ll keep adding more as we learn about their plans, too.

A note: Check for ordering deadlines, or you might find yourself putting baking back on your pre-holiday to-do list.
