Browns get Chip Kelly fired after win vs. Raiders

The Cleveland Browns have come away from their trip to Sin City with a 24-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, who are taking the loss quite hard. After the Cleveland defense dismantled their offense for a full 60 minutes, the Raiders have opted to fire their offensive coordinator Chip Kelly.

Yes, the same Chip Kelly who coordinated an Ohio State offense last college football season and was subsequently made the highest-paid offensive coordinator in the NFL this past offseason. That title did not last long for the longtime coach.

The Browns sacked Raiders’ quarterback 10 times on the afternoon, including three from All-World defensive end Myles Garrett, who broke his own franchise record for sacks in a single season with 18. Scoring just 10 points during the game, the Raiders’ first touchdown of the game came late in the fourth quarter.

Quarterbacks coach Greg Olson has been named interim offensive coordinator in Vegas.

As the offense continues to look for any signs of hope, and may have found a glimmer of it with rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders under center, can they continue to ride out their elite defense? How many more coaches can they get fired this season?
