After beating the Steelers earlier in the season with Joe Flacco under center, the Bengals hoped to complete the series sweep and remain undefeated in the AFC North.

Bengals defense had been turning in a strong performance. But two roughing-the-passer penalties aided the Steelers down the field for a field goal before the half, as did a rookie and Geno Stone struggling to tackle again:

A TJ Watt flag for driving Flacco into the ground gave the Bengals another chance, but Ja’Marr Chase just missed on scoring shortly after on a deep shot:

Joe Flacco’s offense hasn’t changed, either. Andrei Iosvias grabbed two key third down catches and then Flacco hit Tee Higgins for a touchdown. The Bengals failed on a two-point conversion after a penalty moved them closer and gave them the chance, though.
