Beat Michigan or win 2nd national championship? Dispatch poll results

A dream 2025 season for Ohio State football fans would include a victory over Michigan along with a second straight national championship. But which feat would Ohio State fans prefer?

Before the game on Nov. 29, Ohio State fans voted in our Dispatch poll, answering the dilemma the fan base faced in 2024 when the Buckeyes lost to Michigan 13-10 but got an at-large bid in the College Football Playoff and won the national championship.

A loss to Michigan could kick the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten championship game, depending on the results of other games in the Big Ten. Ohio State and Indiana sit at 8-0 in the conference with Oregon and Michigan one loss behind.

Ohio State fan vote results: Beat Michigan or win 2nd national championship?

With 2,254 total responses, 66.64% of Ohio State fans (1,502 votes) voted in favor of winning another national championship over beating Michigan (752 votes), if they had to pick one option.
