Will it rain on Thanksgiving? See the Lower Hudson Valley forecast

This year’s lead-up to Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, is looking mostly sunny and warm in the Lower Hudson Valley, with temperatures near the 50s— but Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to bring some rain.

Monday’s skies have been clear and sunny with a high near 52 degrees. In the evening, cloud cover is expected to increase with a low near 34 degrees, a National Weather Forecast said.

Rain is likely to begin Tuesday afternoon after 4 p.m. and will last throughout the night into Wednesday morning.

Most of Tuesday is expected to be cloudy with a high near 55 degrees. Overnight, temperatures could rise to around 53 degrees around 1 a.m., making it the warmest evening in the region since September.

Wednesday morning could be met with a 50% chance of rain and temperatures near 60 degrees. Overnight, however, have your blankets back on hand as temperatures will drop to around 35 degrees.

The forecast for Thanksgiving Day in the Lower Hudson Valley remains sunny, but temperatures are expected to return to those more typical of fall near 43 degrees. Thursday night is looking clear but chilly with a low of 30 degrees.
