Vote now for Section V's Girls Athlete of the Fall presented by Faber Builders

With the fall season over, it’s time to gather with family for Thanksgiving.

We’re celebrating the season’s Girls Athlete of the Week winners with one final vote.

Vote now to decide who will be named the Faber Builders Girls Athlete of the Fall. Check out each player’s credentials above the poll, which is open until 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. The winner will be announced Monday, Dec. 1, on the DandCSports Instagram page.

This is your chance to honor the best of the best — take one last look at this season’s standout athletes before casting your vote.

Olivia Bottoni

The Webster Thomas senior scored two goals and an assist to help the Titans pick up an early-season win.

Evelyn Buttaccio

The Rush-Henrietta senior was the all-around winner at a gymnastics meet inside the Henrietta Recreation Center in mid-October. At that point of the season, it was her fourth meet she finished in first-place in all-around scoring.

EJ Didas

The Bloomfield freshman scored four goals and two assists in a late-September win.

Mallory Howe

The Pittsford Sutherland junior was the winner of the girls varsity cross country race at the Monroe County Invitational. Howe ran the 5K course inside Parma Park in Hilton in 17 minutes, 50.5 seconds.

Gia Meeks

The Irondequoit freshman was credited with 12 kills and five digs as the Eagles defeated Canandaigua in four sets in the girls volleyball playoffs. 

Sidney Moore

The Penfield senior put down 17 kills as the Patriots won in five sets back in early October. She also had 11 kills and three aces in a sweep during the same week.

Lily Orlando

A senior on the perennially strong Pittsford swimming team who won the 500- and 200-yard freestyle races at the Section V Class A Swimming and Diving Championships. Orlando was named swimmer of the meet after also swimming with the first-place 400 free and runner-up 200 free relays.

Mykayla Pavlina

The Dundee/Bradford star had a hat trick in September.

Jenna Sherman

The LeRoy freshman recorded the golden goal in an early October win in girls soccer.

Teagan Shores

The Penfield senior was the winner of the varsity large schools girls John Izzo Cross Country Classic race in late September.

Kylie Wilson

The LeRoy volleyball player posted 19 digs in her team’s state regional match against Portville.
