Section 9 football coaches announce all-star teams for 2025 season

The Section 9 Football Coaches Association has released its all-stars for the 2025 season.

The backs of the year are Aiden Barbosa of Middletown (Class AA); Zack Filip of Minisink Valley (A); Dylan Fox of Port Jervis (B); Conor Drnek of Dover (C/D); and, Kole Tempestilli of Millbrook (8-man).

The linemen of the year are Charlie Theokas of Monroe-Woodbury (AA); Ryan Nunez-Gomez of Cornwall (A); Myles Coons of Saugerties (B); Elvin Momanyi of Chester (C/D); and, James Deyermond of Eldred (8-man).

The coaches of the year are James Sciarra of Monroe-Woodbury (AA); Kevin Gallagher of Minisink Valley (A); Nick Bernard of Saugerties (B); Ryan Stover of Chester (C/D); and, Lou Portaro of Millbrook (8-man).

All-section choices will likely be up for all-state honors.
