The New York Giants made some minor roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, including their weekly practice squad elevations.
Rookie tight end Thomas Fidone II, one of the team’s seventh-round picks in the 2025 NFL draft, has been placed on injured reserve (IR) with a foot issue. It will likely end his season.
In seven games, the 6-foot-6, 255-pound Fidone recorded a single special teams tackle and was not targeted on offense.
Replacing Fidone on the 53-man roster is running back Eric Gray, who was activated off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, where he spent most of this year after tearing his meniscus in the spring.
Gray adds to a running back group consisting of Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary.
Finally, the Giants elevated wide receiver Dalen Cambre and linebacker Swayze Bozeman from their practice squad. It is the second elevation for both players, and each has only one remaining this season.
