Motorcyclist killed in Henrietta crash identified

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Jefferson Road in Henrietta on November 22, 2025, as Joseph N. Cantie, 18, of Rochester.

The driver of the second vehicle involved was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries and was released the same evening. According to investigators, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors for that driver; however, he was ticketed for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
