Jets' Breece Hall gives candid reaction to fumble in Ravens loss

New York Jets running back Breece Hall played an unfortunate role in his team’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Jets (2-9) fell in a 23-10 final to the Ravens (6-5) on the road. It was a closer game than most expected.

In fact, New York led 7-3 at halftime. Baltimore eventually pulled away and held a 20-10 advantage in the second half.

Still battling, it looked like the Jets were about to cut into their lead with a touchdown. Running back Breece Hall was carrying his team down the field thanks to some big plays… until he had a costly fumble.

Hall had gains of 40, 15 and 10 yards on the drive. On the final one, Hall put the ball on the ground right at the Ravens’ goal line.

He knows it was essentially the death nail and candidly took responsibility for it following the game.

“It stung. You never want to fumble. At the end of the day, my mom has always taught me, there’s going to be ups and downs but never let them see you sweat,” Hall said.

New York head coach Aaron Glenn tried to support Hall as best he could after the loss.

“He’s my guy. And you know what, s— happens,” Glenn said via video conference. “You don’t want it to happen, but it did. The one thing I didn’t want him to do was hold his head down. I know exactly how he felt in that situation. I don’t that player to ever get down on himself.”
