Following both No. 6 seed Indiana and No. 2 seed Las Vegas trading blowout wins to open the first two games of the best-of-five WNBA semifinals, the Fever look to respond in front of a raucous Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd tonight as they host the Aces for a pivotal Game 3.
Despite Indiana opening the series with an impressive 89-73 Game 1 victory over Las Vegas from Michelob ULTRA Arena, the Aces’ leading scorer and back-to-back league MVP guard A’ja Wilson emphatically responded by putting up 25 points en route to a 90-68 Game 2 win on Tuesday.
While Indiana had four of its 10 healthy players score in double digits, the Fever’s 28 points allowed off 22 turnovers and 14 points surrendered on the defensive glass proved costly, as the game was well out of hand by the end of the third quarter.

Regarding the injury front ahead of tonight’s matchup, Las Vegas does not carry any injuries and will be fully healthy. On the other hand, Indiana will be without forward Damiris Dantas for the fifth consecutive game, as she has yet to clear the concussion protocol, according to IndyStar’s Chloe Peterson.
Although guard Lexie Hull was clearly experiencing back pain throughout Game 2, the fourth-year Stanford product is expected to play tonight, despite being listed as “questionable” on the initial injury report and not participating in Thursday’s open practice due to “precautionary reasons.”
