The Iowa State football team will wear helmets with the “Clonenado” logo during Saturday’s home finale at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
The Cyclones’ X/Twitter account indicated Friday that players will wear white helmets with the cardinal “Clonenado” for their 11 a.m. game vs. Kansas.
The Cyclones used that logo from 1995 to 2006, according to Iowa State Athletics.
The Cyclones haven’t won at home in more than a month, previously defeating Arizona in lopsided fashion on Sept. 27 to cap off a 5-0 start.
Plenty has changed since then for Iowa State, which has fallen to 6-4, but the team is looking to give its seniors one last victory at Jack Trice Stadium and go on to finish the season on a high note.
Eugene Rapay and Travis Hines contributed to this report.
