Penn High School’s Penn Marching Kingsmen Band will perform Thursday, Nov. 27, at the 106th 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia.
Penn’s marching band will perform “Santa’s Parade” and “Strike Up The Band,” according to information provided by Penn-Harris-Madison School Corp.
Sponsored by 6abc Studios (WPVI-TV) and Dunkin’, the parade, the oldest in the nation, can be streamed on the website for 6ABC, 6abc.com and on on Hulu and on ABC News Live, beginning at 9 a.m., according to the parade’s website.
The parade route, along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, will feature floats, balloons, marching bands from across the country, entertainers, and Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Mere Schneider, Julie Rice, Dakota Bengtsson, Addison Singleton and Conner Hes serve as the Marching Kingsmen drum majors.
D.J. Landoll serves as the band director, with Sabin Martinez and Aaron Griesser the assistant directors.
The Penn Marching Kingsmen Band finished ninth in Class A at the 2025 Indiana State School Music Association State Finals on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The band has also performed in the Orange Bowl Parade, the Fiesta Bowl Parade, the Hollywood Christmas Parade and the Tournament of Roses Parade, in addition to the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.
