The US LBM Coaches Poll No. 9 Notre Dame is looking to remain in the playoff race as it hosts the Syracuse Orange on Saturday.
Syracuse will likely pose little challenge to the Fighting Irish, but Notre Dame does have to avoid a letdown after a solid road win against Pittsburgh, which was No. 23 before the Irish won 37-15. If Notre Dame wins its final two games, it’s likely in the playoffs, while one loss could keep it out. So the Fighting Irish will need to be focused.
